Willie James Russell, a 31-year-old man from Fayetteville, North Carolina, tragically lost his life on May 12, 2024, which was Mother's Day. The incident occurred in the 2000 block of Seneca Drive, Fayetteville, where Russell was found with multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency services responded to the shooting at approximately 5:30 a.m., but Russell was pronounced dead at the scene.
