On July 21, 2024, the Johnston County Sheriff's Office received a request for a welfare check on 33-year-old Kyle Trabel at his residence on Scout Road in Four Oaks, North Carolina. Upon arrival, deputies observed heavy smoke emanating from the home and promptly summoned the Bentonville Fire Department.
