On September 14, 2023, 20-year-old MaKayla Gabriel Davis was tragically killed in a domestic-related incident in Albemarle, North Carolina. Around 11:58 a.m., police responded to reports of gunshots at a residence on Carpenter Avenue, where they found Davis deceased. Investigations revealed that she had been involved in a domestic dispute shortly before the shooting.
