In the early evening of March 25, 2026, the life of 23-year-old Rickasia Shontee Liles of Wadesboro was tragically cut short in Albemarle, North Carolina. Around 7 p.m., officers from the Albemarle Police Department were dispatched to the vicinity of Heath Street and Elizabeth Avenue following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Ms. Liles inside a vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound.
