On August 4, 2024, in Hoffman, North Carolina, 38-year-old Kanisha Maranda Nealy was tragically killed in a murder-suicide incident involving her husband, 46-year-old Sheldon Maurice Nealy. Deputies from the Richmond County Sheriff's Office responded to a domestic disturbance call at the couple's residence on McCoy Drive.
