Death by Force

On May 10, 2025, 16-year-old African American male Derrick Palmer tragically lost his life in a shooting incident at his residence on Heartwood Drive in Beltsville, Maryland. At approximately 4:25 p.m., officers from the Prince George’s County Police Department responded to reports of a shooting and discovered Derrick suffering from a gunshot wound.
