Sherlyn Alicia Drew, a 21-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on May 31, 2021, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Sherlyn, a rising senior studying biology at Georgia State University, had returned home to Charlotte to visit her family during summer break.
