On June 25, 2022, Q’arysnn Maske, a one-year-old girl from Charlotte, NC, tragically lost her life in a shooting incident at an apartment complex on Wallace Road off Monroe Road. The incident occurred after 8 p.m. when a gun, which was found by one of the children present, accidentally discharged.
