On September 15, 2024, at approximately 6:00 p.m., Durham police responded to reports of a shooting near Glenbrook Drive and Dubonnet Place. Upon arrival, officers discovered 23-year-old Dashaun Johnson suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter.
