Death by Force

On February 1, 2023, Tyrone Johnson, a 40-year-old resident of Brooklyn, New York, was fatally shot outside Grace Funeral Chapels in the Cypress Hills neighborhood. The incident occurred just after 7 p.m. as Johnson was leaving his aunt's wake. Witnesses reported that Johnson was involved in an argument with another individual outside the funeral home when gunfire erupted. Johnson was struck multiple times in the torso and was transported to Jamaica Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
