Carlton Spencer, a 25-year-old resident of Flatbush, Brooklyn, was tragically killed on the night of November 7, 2018. The incident occurred inside the Target store located at City Point Shopping Center in Downtown Brooklyn. According to police reports, Spencer was found with a gunshot wound to his chest at approximately 11:15 p.m. Emergency responders quickly transported him to Brooklyn Hospital Center, but despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
