In the autumn of 2021, a life was tragically cut short on a street in the Bronx. On the afternoon of Thursday, October 7, 2021, police responded to a 911 call reporting a person shot at the intersection of River Avenue and East 151st Street. Upon their arrival at approximately 2:25 PM, officers discovered a 42-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his chest.
Emergency medical services were dispatched to the scene and quickly transported the injured man to NYC Health + Hospital / Lincoln.
