On the evening of April 15, 2023, a group of friends, including 20-year-old Kaylin Gillis, were looking for a party in the rural town of Hebron, New York. In a tragic turn of events, the caravan of two cars and a motorcycle made a wrong turn into the long, winding driveway of 66-year-old Kevin Monahan. As they realized their mistake and began to turn around to leave, Monahan emerged from his house and fired two shots from a 20-gauge shotgun.
