Janelle Curella, a 28-year-old resident of Islip, NY, tragically lost her life on September 2, 2016. Her death was the result of a violent incident that occurred near the Long Island Rail Road station in Bay Shore. On that fateful night, Janelle and her friend David Arzu were walking towards the train station when they were confronted by members of the Bloods street gang.
