Maria Sonia Ju-Louis Bernard, aged 44, tragically lost her life on April 3, 2009, in Binghamton, New York. She was one of the victims of a mass shooting at the American Civic Association (ACA) in Binghamton. This horrific event, perpetrated by Jiverly Antares Wong, resulted in the deaths of 13 individuals, including Maria Sonia Ju-Louis Bernard.
