On July 4, 2023, 17-year-old Karlianne "Karli" Short was tragically shot and killed on East Fayette Street in Syracuse, New York. A recent graduate of Henninger High School, Karli was known for her bright smile and contagious laugh. She had aspirations to attend college and was eager to embrace the opportunities that lay ahead.
