On June 1, 2004, the body of Hannah Finnerty, a 22-year-old White female from Syracuse, New York, was discovered in a trash bin outside an apartment building on West Onondaga Street. She had suffered multiple stab wounds and was later confirmed to be five months pregnant at the time of her death.
