On May 3, 2024, at approximately 6:24 PM, Syracuse Police responded to a call at Upstate University Hospital regarding a female victim, Kimberlin Gatewood, who had been dropped off with a gunshot wound. Despite medical efforts, Gatewood tragically succumbed to her injuries.
