On September 12, 2023, at approximately 1:50 a.m., Buffalo police responded to a shooting on the 3100 block of Main Street, near Custer Street and the University at Buffalo's South Campus. Upon arrival, officers discovered 28-year-old Thomas Davis, a Buffalo resident, who had been fatally shot multiple times. Tragically, Davis was pronounced dead at the scene.
