Roger Wilson Lyon, born on May 31, 1915, in Buffalo, New York, tragically lost his life on August 7, 1924, at the tender age of nine. The circumstances surrounding his death were both shocking and heartbreaking. Roger was fatally shot by his father while he slept. This tragic event unfolded after his mother was also shot and killed by his father.
