Death by Force

On November 1, 2023, at approximately 12:05 p.m., 45-year-old Tikya Francis was fatally shot in his East Flatbush apartment on East 94th Street near Winthrop Street. Known in his community as "Mr. Common Sense" for his helpful advice and wisdom, Francis was discovered with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was rushed to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County in critical condition, where he was later pronounced dead.
