On February 11, 2024, 49-year-old Wahid "Choncho" Nazario and 43-year-old Frank Rosario Vazquez were fatally shot outside a bar on North Goodman Street in Rochester, New York. The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. as the two men were leaving the establishment and heading toward their parked vehicle. As they approached their SUV, an assailant emerged from behind nearby cars and opened fire, striking both men multiple times. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
