On the evening of March 24, 2024, at approximately 7:27 p.m., a tragic shooting occurred near East 128th Street and Lexington Avenue in East Harlem, New York City. The victims, 25-year-old Harry Mendoza and 18-year-old Ashley Ballard, were both found with gunshot wounds to their heads. Despite immediate medical attention, both individuals were pronounced dead at Harlem Hospital.
