Death by Force

On June 1, 2024, at approximately 5 p.m., Syracuse police responded to a ShotSpotter activation indicating multiple gunshots in the 100 block of Martin Luther King West. Upon arrival, officers learned that 31-year-old Lovell E. Days had been transported to Crouse Hospital by private vehicle. Despite medical efforts, Days was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
