In the Morris Park neighborhood of the Bronx, on the evening of Sunday, June 9, 2024, a burst of gunfire shattered the peace. Responding to a 911 call at approximately 5:37 p.m., police arrived at the intersection of Sacket Avenue and Williamsbridge Road to a grim scene. They discovered a 29-year-old male, Kelvin Sims, lying on the ground with devastating gunshot wounds to his head and chest. He lived just two blocks away from where he was gunned down.
