On June 24, 2024, at approximately 8:22 p.m., Syracuse Police Officers responded to a reported altercation at 184 West Calthrop Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered 42-year-old Sidney Emmanuel Comrie suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Officers administered immediate medical aid, and Comrie was transported to Upstate University Hospital. Despite extensive efforts by medical staff, he succumbed to his injuries.
