In the early hours of a Sunday morning in Syracuse, New York, the life of 29-year-old Jamall D. Kelly was tragically cut short. On July 3, 2016, at approximately 3:25 a.m., the sound of gunfire echoed through the Westcott Street neighborhood. Responding to several 911 calls, police arrived to find Kelly with a gunshot wound. He was rushed to Upstate University Hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal, and he died shortly after his arrival.
