Juan J. Rodriguez, 22, male, Hispanic/Latino, was shot on Sunday, June 8, 2025, as daylight began to fade over Syracuse’s West Side. Officers were called just after 6 p.m. to the 200 block of Westmoreland Avenue, steps from the Parkside Commons apartments, in what became the deadliest of several shootings that rattled the city that day.
