Deon Williams, a 32-year-old resident of Brooklyn, NY, was fatally shot on July 13, 2024, at approximately 6:26 PM. The incident occurred at the Sumner Houses, a NYCHA complex located at 68 Marcus Garvey Boulevard in Bedford-Stuyvesant. Williams, who lived in the complex on nearby Park Avenue, was found unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to his torso.
