On a cold February night in 2017, the life of 41-year-old Shanell Hunter was tragically cut short on a street in Brooklyn, New York. In the early hours of February 11th, Hunter was struck in the head by a single gunshot, a sudden and violent end to his life. The incident, which occurred on a Saturday, left those who knew him in shock and mourning.
