On July 16, 2024, 27-year-old Antoine Ruffin from Queens, New York, was fatally shot in Brooklyn. The incident occurred around 7:41 p.m. near 306 Franklin Avenue in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood. Police responding to a 911 call found Ruffin with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/Kings County, where he was pronounced dead.
