Frank DeLucia, a 64-year-old male, had traveled from his home in Durham, North Carolina, to be with his family following the recent death of their mother. They had come together to sort through her affairs, a task that would tragically lead to a violent and fatal confrontation.
The family had assembled at their late mother's home on Wyoming Court. Among them was Frank's younger brother, 59-year-old Joseph DeLucia Jr., who had lived in the house with their mother.
