In the quiet city of Jamestown, New York, Douglas Mansfield Howie, a 68-year-old male, was fatally shot on the evening of September 10, 2024. The incident occurred in the vicinity of Newland and Forest avenues, shattering the neighborhood's peace. First responders arrived at the scene to find Howie with a gunshot wound. He was initially treated at the scene and then transported to UPMC Chautauqua for immediate medical attention.
