Shawn Black, a 37-year-old resident of Lockport, tragically lost his life on April 30, 2022, in Jamestown, NY. The incident occurred late at night, around 11:25 p.m., when multiple shots were fired in the area of East Sixth Street and American Place. Responding to reports of gunfire, Jamestown Police discovered that Black had been transported to UPMC Chautauqua by a private vehicle, which had sustained significant damage from the gunshots.
