In the late hours of a Wednesday evening in Las Vegas, a violent encounter tragically cut short the life of 22-year-old Juan Mejia-Hernandez. On April 8, 2009, at approximately 10:36 p.m., Mejia-Hernandez, a Hispanic male, was the victim of what authorities believe was an act of road rage.
The fatal incident unfolded when Mejia-Hernandez was deliberately run over by a vehicle. The suspect was described as a Black man who was driving a dark-colored car.
Following the incident, the suspect fled the scene, leaving Mejia-Hernandez with mortal injuries.
Despite investigations into the death of Juan Mejia-Hernandez, the case has remained unsolved for years. The suspect in the dark-colored vehicle has never been apprehended, and no arrests have been made in connection with the homicide.
