Billy Putnam, an 87-year-old resident of Meridian, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on May 11, 2014. Mr. Putnam, a retired employee of Gulf States Paper Mill and a U.S. Navy veteran who served during World War II, was known for his passion for restoring and showing antique cars as a member of the Vintage Wheels Car Club.
