Death by Force

On the evening of October 25, 2024, 15-year-old Malachi Deberry was fatally shot in Brooklyn, New York. The incident occurred around 8:40 p.m. on Lenox Road near Rockaway Parkway in the Brownsville neighborhood. Responding to a 911 call, officers from the 67th Precinct found Malachi with a gunshot wound to the head. He was immediately transported to Maimonides Medical Center, where he was initially listed in critical condition before succumbing to his injuries.
