On an autumn evening in the Bronx, 18-year-old Joshua Sparrow was on his way to a birthday party with his 15-year-old cousin on October 28, 2024. As they walked near 961 Reverend James Polite Avenue in the Longwood section, their path was tragically interrupted. Three masked individuals confronted the teenagers. It was around 7:04 p.m. when the sound of gunshots shattered the night.
