Amaury Toro, a 43-year-old male, was killed in the early morning hours of June 4, 2026, after gunfire erupted along the Grand Concourse in the Fordham Heights section of the Bronx. Police said officers from the 46th Precinct were called around 2:35 a.m. for a report of an assault near 2151 Grand Concourse, a busy stretch lined with residential buildings and storefronts. When they arrived, they found Toro suffering from gunshot wounds to his chest and groin.
