In the Mount Eden section of the Bronx, on the night of December 5, 2021, a burst of gunfire shattered the evening calm, leaving a young life extinguished. Twenty-one-year-old Sergio Jimenez was fatally shot in what police have described as a targeted attack. The male victim was seated in his white BMW at the intersection of East 171st Street and Townsend Avenue when the violent encounter unfolded at approximately 10:16 PM.
