On May 12, 2023, 25-year-old Caleb Bell was fatally shot in the 3600 block of Garfield Avenue in St. Louis' Jeff-Vander-Lou neighborhood. Police responded to the scene around 3 p.m. and found Bell deceased from gunshot wounds.
