On July 7, 2023, 19-year-old Jaylin Johnson was found deceased on St. Charles Rock Road in Pagedale, Missouri. Investigations revealed that Johnson had met a group of individuals in downtown St. Louis and traveled with them on a westbound MetroLink train. Upon exiting at the Rock Road station, he was fatally shot a short distance away. His cellphone and firearm were stolen, and his pockets were turned inside out.
