On July 13, 2023, 47-year-old Juan Zollar was fatally shot in Kansas City, Missouri. The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. in the parking lot of an Office Depot in Midtown. According to witness accounts, Zollar exited a vehicle and confronted individuals in the parking lot, reportedly stating, "I got something for you," while reaching for a knife that remained sheathed.
