Jeremy Alan Ridenbaugh, a 36-year-old man from Steubenville, Ohio, was fatally shot on July 24, 2012, in Columbus, OH. He was in Columbus with his girlfriend, Melissa J. Reynolds, 26, to buy Christmas presents for their blended family. The couple was at a house on Republic Avenue in North Linden when the shooting occurred. Ridenbaugh was shot in the chest and abdomen, and Reynolds was shot in the leg. Ridenbaugh was pronounced dead at Ohio State University’s Wexner Medical Center.
