On August 1, 2023, 40-year-old Antonio (also reported as Alltonio) Steeples was fatally shot in St. Louis, Missouri. The incident occurred around 6:40 p.m. in the 1600 block of Hamilton Avenue, located in the Wells-Goodfellow neighborhood. Responding officers found Steeples with gunshot wounds to his head and stomach. He was transported to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
