On August 13, 2023, at approximately 6 p.m., Kansas City, Missouri, police officers responded to a reported shooting in the 3600 block of Norton Avenue. Upon arrival, they were directed to a residence where they discovered 44-year-old David Eugene Clark suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency medical services pronounced him deceased at the scene.
