On October 22, 2023, in Canton, Missouri, 42-year-old April Denise Wolf was fatally shot during a domestic altercation with her husband, Adam Wolf. Authorities responded to a disturbance at their residence on Grant Street around 8:03 p.m., discovering April with a severe gunshot wound. She was transported to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois, where she succumbed to her injuries early the following morning.
