In the early morning hours of January 28, 2024, the life of 25-year-old Tawan Ward was tragically cut short in a fatal shooting in the Downtown West neighborhood of Saint-Louis, Missouri. Responding to a report of a shooting shortly before 5:30 a.m., police officers discovered Ward in the 1600 block of Pine Street. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
