On January 28, 2024, 22-year-old Harley W. Branscomb was fatally shot on the Missouri side of the Eads Bridge in St. Louis. Police responded to reports of a shooting around 4:30 a.m. and found Branscomb deceased at the scene. A 23-year-old woman accompanying him was unharmed.
