Harley Branscomb, a 22-year-old White man, was in St. Louis before dawn on January 28, 2024, when a quiet stretch of riverfront roadway turned into a crime scene. Police were called to the Missouri side of the Eads Bridge after a report of gunfire, and they found him on the ground with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene, while a 23-year-old woman who had been with him was not physically injured.
