On March 5, 2024, at approximately 5:30 p.m., authorities responded to a fatal shooting at a residence in the 600 block of County Road 544 in Butler County, Missouri. The victim, identified as 45-year-old Matthew Wilkerson of Dudley, Missouri, sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
